One of My Favorite Brands: Z'NON Skincare
There are few brands that I am completely impressed with their product line. I have to share an miraculous brand that I’ve come across, which is actually a small business. A young mother based in Texas, started her research and journey into finding an effective skincare line for South Asian skin. I reached out to her because I heard so many good reviews, and I was gifted my first package last year. I’ve fallen in love since. I’ve repurchased her products multiple times now and in fact, I purchase her products as soon as they’re back in stock because they sell out fast and are unavailable for quite some time. The best part about this line is that it’s natural and effective. I’ve seen such tremendous progress to my skin, a contributing factor to my flawless skin is Z’NON Skincare.
The Botanical Face Wash: I started off using this face wash only before bed and now I’ve worked it into my daily routine twice a day. It is an amazing, gentle and brightening exfoliating face-wash. I recommend using this on the daily to contribute to brightening, improving discoloration and even skin-tone, and preventing break-outs. The only time I don’t use this facewash is after a professional skin treatment such as chemical peel or microdermabrasion.
The Youth Oil: This skincare’s number one bestseller and always the first to sell out. It works wonders for most skin-types, especially dry skin. It’s hydrating, aids in anti-aging as well as provides my skin with such a healthy glow. You need a few drops to dab all over your face and I love using this twice a day, if I’m not running out.
The Vitamin C’erum: I love this vitamin C serum for bedtime. I can feel it tightening my skin almost immediately. It’s amazing to cure break-outs overnight. It also contributes in improving discoloration, improving your skin-tone and a flawless glow. Because my skin is on the drier side, whenever I use this seurm I like to follow it up with Youth Oil and my Eminence Organics Bamboo & Guava Age Defying moisturizer to provide some heavy duty hydration.
Immortelle Fade Serum: (no longer available, she’s combined it with the new Vitamin C’erum) This product has an expiration date, which truly shows how effective this product can be in it’s time period. Potent chemicals have a limited time period, so use it as much as you can when you purchase it (I believe it lasts upto a year or less). It works amazing for removing acne scars or pigmentation, allowing new skin to regrow. Because it is more of a drying serum, I am unable to use it as often as I like. I like to pair it with nights that I am not using the Vitamin C’erum and pair it with Youth Oil along with my moisturizer.
Youth Vitamin Serum: This is an AM Vitamin C serum, which has already made a huge difference on my skin. It’s best to be paired with a brightening agent like her Brightening Toner or sometimes I alternate using Sunday Riley’s Good Genes lactic acid treatment. I’ve used other Vitamin C serums such as skinceuticals, but this has proven to be much more effective and a lot less expensive.
Brightening Toner: To be used after you cleanse your face. It helps absorb product better as well as brightens and moisturizes your face. You can apply it on top of makeup to help freshen your look. I use it mostly for after cleansing my face or after I’ve taken off my makeup.
Silk Moisturizer: A lightweight moisturizing gel that awakens and plumps your skin. It smells amazing and is a perfect moisturizer for oily skin types. Because my skin type is so dry, I love using this in the summer or to awaken my skin before I put on makeup.
Regenerative Oil Face Mask: One of the best products she’s come out with. It’s amazing to use alone, I love to leave it on after I apply my serums. I’ve recently used it as a mask and used it with her clay Sahara scrub and it’s made my skin baby soft and smooth. I mostly love it for its hydration purposes and it’s long lasting when I pair it with the Regenerative moisturizer.
Regenerative Moisturizer: It’s a silky hydrating gel that is great for long lasting hydration. It’s basically a heavier version of the Silk moisturizer, which is exactly what my skin needs. I had to pile on moisturizers in the past, but with this I don’t need to at all. I love adding it on after the Regenerative face mask or Youth Oil to enhance the moisture. It also smells amazing.
Lash Serum: This serum has evidently made my lashes thicker. It’s even filled in the missing spots on my lash line, which Latisse wasn’t able to do. It’s better than Latisse for the fraction of the price.
Sahara Clay Scrub: The most hydrating clay scrub you can use. With dry skin I find most clay scrubs difficult, but not this one. It’s a great way to even the texture on your skin and add a little extra exfoliation without drying yourself out. I like to use it once a week and recently paired it with the Regenerative face mask and my skin is glowing!
