The tough part about fashion blogging is getting as many uses as you can out of your outfits and simultaneously posting them online. Before blogging I never really posted a picture of my outfits until I was done re-wearing them. Since I did a ton of shopping in Pakistan, I feel slightly more comfortable posting looks when I first wear the outfit. I really enjoy recycling my clothes by pairing them differently each time. So you may see this outfit again or you may not and there’s nothing wrong with that. Clothes are meant to be worn multiple times, including desi clothes. Keep the pieces you love and wear them as much as you like!
Top: I bought this Peshawari kurti from a small bazaar in Pakistan. I love rocking the traditional look because I strongly believe it brings out the true beauty in South Asian women. In order to bring out the traditional look, I paired the kurti with wide pants and a dupatta. I’ve posted this Peshawari kurti before, I wore it as a a dress and paired it with booties— you can check out the look here.
Bottoms: I did a bunch of trouser shopping in Pakistan since they now sell pants separately and snagged a pair of wide pants in white and black. Wide pants are perfect for this look and of course so comfortable to wear. I also got these pants from the same bazaar in Karachi.
Jewelry: I’m wearing my signature Nominal name necklace in Arabic. I love this necklace and it looked really cute with this outfit. Use code MARIAM15 at checkout for 15% off your purchase!
Shoes: The black ankle strap heels are from Sam Edelman.
